Katkus Kitchen Remodel

This major home renovation began after a fire damaged the home and garage on one side. Whelan Builders repaired and restored the fire-damaged areas and completed an extensive kitchen remodel.

To create the open-concept layout the homeowners wanted between the kitchen and family room, the team removed several load-bearing walls. The project required significant structural modifications, including installing three 24-foot beams to properly support the home while opening and transforming the living space.
